Choco Diary
This is new page I added to my blog. Starting from today I going to write all the things about me on this page kind of lame huhuhuh but this is my first step to improve my English (which I’m terrible at it). Well I was here in Melbourne around 5 months already. Things different than usual (compare to Malaysia) and at the beginning I am totally fucked up. But thanks to the almighty Allah s.w.t everything turns fine. Ok let’s talk what are the main differences and similarities between our country Malaysia and Australia.
1. Population
According to the statistic the amount of people between Malaysia and Australia is not so much difference (don’t know the exact figure but they are near the same amount). But Australian government welcome people over the entire world to come and became resident, which makes the country unique. We can say that Australia is becoming a mix races country. The country divided into 8 areas which are Western, Northern, Queensland, South, Victoria and Tasmania.
2. Weather
Australia has 4 seasons.
Summer: Dec – Feb
Autumn: Mar – May
Winter: June – Aug
Spring: Sept – Nov
3. Foods (Yummy)
Hahahah well because of the mixture of races, you can find many kind of food variation. Eat while you can from western to Asian foods, France, Spanish, and Middle East Asia and of course the aboriginal foods. If you don’t have a barrier then you are most welcome to Australia. For Muslim (that including me), there are many places for us to eat and to buy. For example in Melbourne they have Halal KFC, Halal Mcd, Halal Nando’s and they also have halal meat. So don’t worry (^_^).
4. The People
Well I think I am not suppose to say about these kinds of things because I am not an expert and just lived here around 5 months. What I can say are the people around here is helpful and nice but like Malaysia and any countries in the world sometimes they can be really rude especially when they were drunk. Noted that Australian never laughed at anybody who cannot speak proper English (like me). Just ask them any question and they will try to help you but do not forget to say please and after that thank you.
There are lots of things I want to say… but I think that is just enough for now.
